I was attempting to purchase on their layaway plan, I had some things come up, and was going to miss the second to last payment, but asked to double up on my last payment and still get the gun out within the 60 day limit they had it set up for. They said they couldn't wait until the payout date. They do seem like nice people, but doesn't seem to work with customers on their layaway. If you need something on layaway, I wouldn't suggest this company. I will keep posted on what their "restocking" fee costs.

Response from XCaliber Gear We recognize that unforeseen circumstances may arise, requiring modifications to established plans. Our layaway policy allows for biweekly payments, with the total balance due at the end of the term. This information is readily available through each customer’s Buya Layaway account. Additionally, we provide a flexible "pick-your-term" plan, which enables you to tailor payments to align with your financial circumstances. Our policies are set to maintain cash flow in our business and allow us to offer low prices and perks like layaway to all of our customers. Regarding the specific layaway in question, it was initiated with a 60-day term on February 8, 2025. However, only one payment was made during the first 40 days. Consequently, our system automatically prompted an associate to reach out for a review of the account. If you need payment terms that exceed the authorization granted by our associate, please visit Chris Elrod, at the store, to discuss alternative arrangements.
